Incorporate what is useful to learn from the problem solving experience
into the existing knowledge. Subprocesses are:
- Extract - if the problem was solved using an old case, the system
can build a new case, or generalize an old case to include the new case as
well. If the user was asked, a new case should be constructed. Explanations
may be included in the case.
- Index - decide what types of indexes to use for future retrieval.
- Integrate - modify the indexing of existing cases after the experience,
strengthen the weight of features that were relevant, and decrease the weight
of features that lead to retrieval of irrelevant cases.
