To evaluate technics and tools used in data mining and knowledge
discovery for criterions defined in the NOEMIE project. The following
data mining technics will be studied
: inductive
learning, pattern identification, concept discovery, statistical
cluster, Bayesian networks, rough sets as used in tools like ID3,
SODAS and STARS.
This project will be done in participation with SINTEF, as part of the NOEMIE
project. The NOEMIE project is described in section

Professor Jan Komorowski is the scientific supervisor for the project and professor Agnar Aamodt and Ole Martin Winnem are instructors.
