Alessandra Agostini – She holds a MSc. in Information Science from the University of Milano, Italy. She is currently researcher at the Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICO), University of Milano, Italy. She has been project manager of the Esprit LTR Campiello Project (1997-2000). The project aimed to support the exchange of cultural information and experiences among the community of people living in art cities, their local cultural resources, and foreign visitors. The project made use of ubiquitous computing technologies applied to communityware. Her main research interests are: CSCW, ubiquitous and mobile computing, communityware.

 

Monica Divitini – She holds a MSc. in Information Science from the University of Milano, Italy, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Aalborg, Denmark. She is currently Professor of Cooperation Technology at the Department of Information and Computer Science (IDI), Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She is founder of the CO2 (COoperation in COmmunities) Laboratory at IDI. She has co-organized three international workshops, one resulting in an edited book. Her research interests lie primarily in the area of CSCW, mobile technology in education, support for communities and loosely coupled groups, coordination support.
